The first overland exporter of cement from Benin to Nigeria under an exclusive ETLS permission. 1995 The commencement of cross-border trade in oils from Ghana to Nigeria. 1996 The first oil barter trade in Benin through the export of CPO from Benin and the import of Oleine from Nigeria. 1997 The first import into Benin of Soya Bean oil from the USA. 1998 The first import into West Africa in flexibags (in 20ft containers), through Benin. Imported the first vessel of LPG into Benin. 1999 The first import of haulage trucks into Benin through the U.S Exim facility. 2000 The first bulk oil import in tanker vessel from Malaysia into Benin. 2001 The importation and sale into Bayelsa State, Nigeria, of a 12000 Mt vessel of rice The first importer of bulk Oleine into Nigeria from Malaysia in a tanker vessel. 2002 Established as the largest importer of oils & fats into Benin & Niger. |
